April is a nurturing and fun loving therapist and has worked in medical, educational, and private practice settings for several years. She has been practicing at Totaly Sense-Sational since the grand opening in 2005. She earned her Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from Misericordia University, is certified to administer and interpret the Sensory Integration and Praxis Test (SIPT), and is being trained in the DIR™ Floor Time approach. April has also completed her certification for Handwriting Without Tears®
April is currently working with us on a part-time basis and working full-time as a mommy to her sons Braden and Zachary!

Director of Totaly Sense-Sational
Jodie has 20+ years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents and adults with Sensory Processing Disorder and developmental disabilities. Jodie has her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Temple University, is certified to administer and interpret the Sensory Integration and Praxis Test (SIPT), MNRI Masgutova Reflex, Archetype, Visual and Auditory, and Tactile Integration Methods, and is an Advanced DIR™ Floor Time practitioner. Jodie specializes in auditory processing deficits and has advanced Therapeutic Listening™ training (including EASe, modulated music and some SAMONAS™) and is our certified Tomatis® and Berard AIT Consultant. Jodie is a member of the International Association of Registered Certified Tomatis® Consultants. Jodie is also a practitioner of Yoga for the Child with Special Needs. Jodie is also mom to twins, Norah and Liam, and her younger son Eli, who inspires and encourages her to help all those in need every day.

We aim to be a unique treatment facility, in which we offer different theraputic techniques for the client beyond that of just SI-OT such as Tomatis, AIT, Theraputic Listening, Speech and Language, Yoga, Interactive Metronome, Social Skill Groups and DIR/Floortime
Shalyn graduated with a Masters of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Gannon University. She has worked in a variety of pediatric settings including early intervention and hospital before coming to join the Totaly Sense-Sational team in 2016! Shalyn is a fun and energetic therapist who loves to work with children of all ages and abilties! Shalyn is a certified Interactive Metronome provider and is trained in Brain Gym and Therapeutic Listening. She is in the process of getting trained in Masgutova Reflex and Tactile Integration Method and is also our Fieldwork Supervisor.
When not working she can be found playing and walking along the Wissahickon trail with her American Bulldog-Boxer, Millie or eating ice cream with her husband and baby!
Theresa graduated from Harcum College as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assisitant, but don't let that title fool you! She is so much more than that! Theresa has been with the Totaly Sense-Sational team for the last 2 years and specializes in sensory processing disorder and tactile integration. Theresa is energetic, fun, and works tirelessly with all of our Totaly Sense-Sational clients. She loves working with children of all ages. Theresa also has experience working as a therapist in the school setting with elementary aged children.
Theresa has 2 grown boys of her own, enjoys the beach, playin pickle ball, and hanging out with friends and family.

Mary Esgro, MS, OTR/L
Mary is a passionate & creative occupational therapist who has worked with the pediatric population in early intervention, school-based, & outpatient settings. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science from Penn State University in 2014 with a major in Human Development & Family Studies & her Masters of Occupational Therapy from Bay Path University in 2016. Mary has been practicing at Totaly Sense-Sational since the Fall of 2018. She has completed her certification in Handwriting Without Tears and is a Basic DIR Floor Time practitioner. She also has experience with Keyboarding Without Tears, is familiar with the Size Matters Handwriting Program, and has a basic understanding of American Sign Language. Mary is currently receiving training for the following specialities: Interactive Metronome and Masgutova Reflex and Tactile Integration Method, with a goal of achieving the next level of certification for DIR Floor Time in the near future. Mary loves working with “her kiddos” and collaborating with their parents/caregivers in order to best meet their individual needs.
Outside of work Mary enjoys: spending time with her boyfriend and his pup Riley, her friends, as well as family from NEPA; playing with her cats (fur babies) Toby and Luigi; traveling; exercising; broadening her knowledge personally and professionally; and petting every dog she can!Double click to insert body text here ...
